Global Head of Energy Transition and Environment at BNP Paribas, Sebastien has more than 17 years of professional experience in energy transition and environment, sustainable development, industrial environment, biodiversity and circular economy, quantification of environmental and social impacts and life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable marketing, etc.

Before joining BNP Paribas, Sébastien began as an environmental economist at INERIS (the French National Institute of Industrial Environment and Hazards). He then went on to join the major international oil and gas company TOTAL where he held numerous positions during nine years: responsible for Total’s R&D program on alternative fuels, head of the environment department in an oil & gas refinery, sustainable development leader for new energies, etc. He worked during more than four years as director in charge of energy transition at Deloitte.
